Communications technology looked and sounded a lot different when Executone of Louisiana was founded in 1961. Back then, when the company’s focus was on intercoms and nurse-call systems, the computer age was just dawning and clients could only dream of the advances that the coming years would bring.
But as technology evolved, so too has Executone grown to not only meet its clients’ needs but also to stay a step ahead of this rapidly changing field. Now with offices in Baton Rouge, Lafayette, Lake Charles, Alexandria and Shreveport, the company serves 2,900 customers around the state and continues to offer pioneering technology from business and wireless phone systems to health care communications systems and beyond.
Hospitals and health care providers around the state have long been familiar with the outstanding products and exemplary customer service that Executone provides. In fact, equipment sold and serviced by the company is found in 80% of acute-care facilities within its territory. Accomplishing such a feat is the result of following a simple formula: working with respected manufacturers, including the world’s largest nurse-call company, plus offering American-made products and listening to customers’ needs.
“Since the conception of the company, we decided that we were only going to work with reputable manufacturers,” says Executone President Ronnie Juneau. “Our philosophy is simple: We provide total communications solutions at a fair price and back it up with excellent customer service.”
As other companies of its kind have fallen by the wayside over the decades, Executone has seen healthy growth, thanks to continued innovations. The firm was one of the first to implement computer-telephony integration, and among its best-selling products are business phone systems that can be located in-house or in the virtual world.
“We offer one of the few systems that is totally integrated with VMware, so your system can be hosted in your own private cloud or an external cloud for survivability, redundancy and resiliency,” says Executone Vice-President Chad Coppola. “That’s especially important in Louisiana because we are subject to inclement weather.”
In the nurse-call world, Executone offers pioneering solutions including but not limited to, staff assist, which allows medical personnel to send distress calls wirelessly, and workflow solutions aimed at improving patient satisfaction via various types of wireless devices.
Even with the high-tech advances, Executone’s leaders link their long-running success to old-fashioned values. “Our motto is, ‘Service is our business, and our customers are the proof,’ ” says Juneau. “We’re locally owned and financially stable. We have long-term employees and loyal customers. Those are the things that really set us apart.”
“Attentive to your needs and ready with solutions—we are Executone of Louisiana, where you can expect results!”
