BATON ROUGE-BASED home builder Level Homes continues to offer a wide array of options and resources for all prospective homeowners, positioning it for steady growth in 2016.

Since it was founded in 2000 by Todd Waguespack, Level Homes managing partner, the company has developed into a trusted and reliable resource for aspiring homeowners looking for a move-in-ready residence. Last year Level Homes completed the construction of 117 homes, and the company is projected to close on more than 200 this year alone.

Level Homes has expanded into North Carolina, South Carolina and Florida, utilizing a successful and time-proven business model. In 2016 and beyond, Level Homes is continuing to move into new markets throughout south Louisiana. In the Baton Rouge area, an additional 90 lots will soon be available in the Rouzan traditional neighborhood development located on Perkins Road near College Drive. The 120-acre community will feature a mix of commercial, retail and residential, as well as multiple green spaces, and is located conveniently near LSU and other popular amenities.

Level Homes is nearing completion on 73 developed lots within The Island, a golf course community located in Plaquemine. Additional new developments include a 280-lot community named Belle Savanne near Dutchtown High School, Germany Oaks in Prairieville and Whispering Meadows in Broussard. Level is also expanding its footprint into St. Tammany Parish this year with 23 lots available in the Pine Creek neighborhood.

Of course, working with Level Homes means multiple options are available to home buyers, like different floor plans and elevations for homes, as well as granite or marble counter tops, hardwood floors, and kitchen designs with various appliance packages. Customers have expressed their satisfaction with the wide array of options at their fingertips through Guild Quality customer satisfaction surveys, where in 2015, the company averaged a 91% customer satisfaction survey score.

“Our satisfaction rates can be attributed to our hands-on approach from the time the customer signs the contract to well after they close on their home,” says Ryan Engquist, Level Homes division president. “Our quality control checkpoints at various stages of the project ensure the quality and integrity of the work that’s being done so the home buyer is satisfied completely. We want their house to be as close to perfect as it can be before they walk through the finished product.”

A design studio at the Level Homes headquarters in downtown Baton Rouge is another tool to help home buyers choose what they’ll want in their home. The studio is a one-of-a-kind space featuring various home décor options so patrons can see for themselves a variety of designs for living areas, kitchens and more to decide what will work best for them.

“It’s unique to the area. No one else in the area offers a design studio,” Engquist says.

The staff at Level Homes emphasizes their approach is to take care of the home buyer from the beginning to the end, from the moment a customer decides to work with Level Homes. A key example is their ability to help with financing, available through LH lending, the company’s in-house lender.

“We have a very seamless process, which is beneficial for those who get worried about building a new house,” says Waguespack. “We’re able to build a wide variety of products for a lot of customization options, and we’re doing it on a large scale.”
