Since Davis bought the company from his father, who started AccuTemp in 2006, the business has grown quickly.

“Twenty-four months ago we were primarily a heating and air-conditioning company,” Davis says. “Through that work, we realized that to better serve our clients, we needed to expand our services, into areas such as energy evaluations and insulation. That gave us a passion to continue innovating and to offer a full range of services to our clients. I don’t know another company in Louisiana who does that.”

AccuTemp has plans to expand its services to plumbing, electrical and more. “Even if we don’t offer the service yet ourselves, we can give our customers a referral to a company we stand behind because we’ve vetted them through our 10 years in business,” Davis adds.

Laura Finley, AccuTemp’s office manager, says providing a full range of services demonstrates that the company is looking out for the customer’s best interest.

“There are some companies that only do A/C or only insulation, or only residential or commercial,” she says. “Our company has more solutions to offer instead of just one, so this makes us unbiased in the sense that we will do what a customer needs instead of trying to get them to simply purchase the one service that we offer.”
